About the Council on American Values

“Enlighten the people generally, and tyranny and oppressions of body and mind will vanish like evil spirits at the dawn of day.” — Thomas Jefferson, in a letter to Du Pont de Nemours (April 24, 1816)

“Educate and inform the whole mass of the people. Enable them to see that it is to their interest to preserve peace and order, and they will preserve them. They are the only sure reliance for the preservation of our liberty.” –Thomas Jefferson to James Madison

The Founders of the United States of America constructed a government for citizens who held a particular set of attitudes, ideas, and moral principles. Through generations of prosperity and happiness, the qualities that the Founders had counted on were gradually lost and forgotten. It is these qualities, though, that are necessary to keep and maintain our limited government, and thereby our freedom. The systems that were established to secure our freedom are crumbling and eroding away. It is only by embracing our heritage, and becoming the assertive people that we once were, that we can save our freedoms and ourselves. For this, I create the Council on American Values.

Purpose

The Council on American Values was started to counter and repair the corrosive effects on the country caused by organizations that seek to undermine, subjugate, and destroy the United States Constitutional Republic. The purpose of the CAV is to restore the country to its original state, with maximum personal liberty and privacy; a small, servant government that is obedient to the Constitution; minimal legislation; fair courts; peaceful trade with other nations; no central bank or other unconstitutional government bodies; a strict, precious metal currency; and an active, independent, educated, and empowered people.

Plan

The Council on American Values is fulfilling its purpose using a two-fold plan: education of the population, and placement of members in government offices. Both activities remain equal in every respect, as one can not progress without the accompaniment of the other. The primary means of enabling the plan is through creation and recruitment of intelligence and capital.

Execution

(The systems are not yet in place to perform the following descriptions.)

Applicants for Lead Membership must demonstrate, through written and non-written testing, a knowledge of and conformance to the Constitution and the intent, spirit, and principles of the Founders. After passing, but before acceptance, the applicant must publicly declare and sign an oath to uphold and defend the above, for the remainder of his or her life. Lead Members pay no dues and enjoy voting rights. Lead Membership is lifelong, and may be suspended or revoked if the Leader has been determined, by an elected review council of five other Leaders, to have intentionally broken his or her oath, and has not nor will not make a public confession and restitution for the offending action.

Applicants for Support Membership may join, leave, or change membership level as desired. Membership is graduated according to fees paid, which cover the benefits of the Supporter’s Membership and the operating expenses of the Council. Such benefits may include, but are not limited to, electronic or paper newsletters, educational materials, promotional items, audio or video record of conference proceedings, attendance of conferences, etceteras.
